| BCCM | ************** The Canton Antiracism Alliance has been working with subject matter experts, the Canton Community Assocation (CCA), and Baltimore City Rec and Parks (with consultation and approval by CHAP) to donate and unveil a historic marker memorializing the people who were enslaved on the Canton Plantation at the time of Captain John O'Donnell's death in 1805. The sign is being purchased from Lakeshore Industries by the CCA based on the same design used by previous Canton History Project historic markers installed in City parks by Dr. Ray Bahr. We have a donation agreement in place between the CCA, Shannon-Baum Signs (the installer), and the City, which I will attach and should count for City agency approval. I will attach a mockup that includes a map of the installation location and surrounding objects and rights-of-way. I have requested and will attach a drawing of the installation plan for the pole and marker from Shannon-Baum.
