| COM2019 | per chap::gatehouse: temporary removal (and then reinstallation) of all metal gates and grates, floodlights, electrical conduits as noted, downspouts, scuppers, and signage on the exterior of the building. remove mortar joints to sound mortar, and repoint using mortar that matches the historic mortar in composition, color, texture, and joint profile. clean the stone and joint surfaces using a low pressure water spray and nylon bristle brushes. remove all sealants at all window and door perimeters, caulk with polyurethane sealant and primer and add backer rod. on the north gate entrance ceiling, install metal lathe and provide a three coat cement plaster. the metal standing seam roofing has been removed and will be replaced with the same roofing or in kind to match existing. some of this scope of work has already been completed. note: chap to review and approve the repointing of stone masonry units and the exterior cement plaster prior to any more repointing occurring; the applicant is to coordinate this site visit and review with staff. all work to be completed as per the plans dated march 8 2018 submitted for chap files. if the scope of work changes to include more work, the applicant is to submit a new application for the additional scope. scope of work: exterior work to include tuckpointing the exterior stone on the entrance gates to the cemetery. all work should be done within private property limits. all work will be done according to baltimore city code. | $225,000 | Feb 11, 2019 |
