BASED ON IBC REQUIREMENTS, A SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS NOT REQUIRED. THE EXISTING INTERIORS WILL BE MODIFIED WITH NEW AND REINFORCED FRAMING OF THE FLOOR PLATES TO SATISFY NEW LOAD REQUIREMENTS. WALLS, ROOFS AND NEW SLABS WILL BE INSULATED TO MEET NEW ENERGY CODES. NEW WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE PROVIDED WHERE INDICATED IN THE PLANS. NEW CODE COMPLIANT STAIRS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO ACCESS ALL LEVELS.
