BRCMSCOPE OF WORK: ------ EXTERIOR ALTERATIONS -------- - We are doing a 9.66 KW DC roof mount solar installation. It's a Solar PV system comprises of 21 CANADIAN SOLAR CS6.1-54TM-460H 460W PV MODULES,06 HOYMILES HM-1500NT MICRO INVERTER @240V, 1438W, 5.99A.Our system size in DC and AC would be 9.66 KW DC and 8.63 KW AC. Over the roof, we are installing the junction box and then from that point the wires are coming down to the combiner. Roof Grounding is done and we use 06 AWG Bare copper wire for that. For the wires coming down from roof, we use 10 AWG THWN-2, COPPER wire for the grounding and from combiner till the line side connection we use the 08 AWG THWN-2 COPPER wire. We would be installing a 125A AC combiner(in which both strings would be combined). In the combiner box we are installing two 30A double pole breakers, one for each string, along we are installing two disconnects, one is 60A Non Fused Disconnect that would be installed outside beside the utility meter and one 60A Fused disconnect(with 50A Fuses) that would be installed beside the Main service panel and as far as the solar interconnection is concerned we are doing a line side connection in the Main Service Panel. Moreover, we are adding one more branch circuit in which we are placing the 30A(double pole) breaker of the SPD(Surge Protection Device),wire size for this one is 8 AWG. We are using 10AWG wire for the AC run over the roof and then from the Junction box till the AC combiner Box. After combiner box, we are using 06 AWG wire in our engineering plans. We are using ILSCO IPC 250MCM-1 CONN line side taps in order to make the line side connection. AS PER PLANS AND AS PER CODE.$15,900Apr 28, 2026
