COM2019per chap::bolton hill historic district - approved as per chap atp: on façade, remove 10 non-historic double-hung windows and original window trim that is deteriorated beyond repair. on façade, remove 3 original basement casement windows that are deteriorated beyond repair, retaining the original window trim and repairing with appropriate epoxies or piece-in with comparable wood as needed. the fixed transom windows over the first floor windows and door will be retained. replace the 10 double-hung windows with full replacement jeld-wen siteline wood double-hung windows that properly fit in the window openings, with trim to replicate the original trim in size, dimensions, and details. on the third floor, the contractor will install an elliptical wood panel to fit between the top of the window and the arched trim. the basement casement windows will be custom-milled to match existing in dimension and details, including the decorative vertical bead, and installed in the original frames. this project will require the temporary boarding of windows with plywood or plexiglass. the applicant will submit the proposed paint color for the windows to chap staff for review and approval prior to painting. all work to be completed as per plans in chap files except where this atp supercedes. scope of work: exterior alterations to include: replacing exterior front windows (14) and removing old windows (same size same location), all work will be done according to baltimore city code.$2,000Feb 22, 2019
