BRCMThis scope of work outlines the demolition activities to be performed within the interior of an existing residential structure. All work shall comply with Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) permit requirements and safety standards. 2. Scope of Work • Perform partial demolition of the interior, demolishing the wall dividing the kitchen from the dining room, also demolishing the wall between the dining room and the living room, and demolishing the wall to the right of the staircase, thus creating an open concept throughout almost the entire first floor. • Remove non-structural internal partitions, drywall, ceiling materials, flooring, and fixtures, where indicated. • Maintain the integrity of all load-bearing walls, beams, structural elements, and external envelope, unless otherwise approved by an engineering assessment. • Demolish remaining finishes, doors, windows, fireplace, and installations. 3. Demolition Method and Equipment • All demolition will be performed using manual hand tools and small electric equipment (e.g., saws, reciprocating tools, pry bars). • Heavy machinery will not be used inside the structure unless otherwise approved. • Work areas will be clearly marked and secured to prevent unauthorized access during demolition activities. 4. Debris Handling and Disposal • All debris generated from demolition will be collected daily and placed in approved dumpsters located on-site.$3,000Dec 12, 2025
