Appropriate installation of new stair system, new support posts & footings as needed to support the Gazebo. Deck will not support the gazebo load. The structure will be constructed using standard pressure treated dimensional lumber and will serve as an accessory residential structure. The hand built on site gazebo will include full screen wall panels, a shingled roof. Roof framing will be tied into the existing house wall with proper flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing to prevent water intrusion. The gazebo will be secured to both the deck framing and the brick exterior wall of the house using code-approved fasteners, brackets, and anchors. A standard gutter and downspout system will be installed on the gazebo roof to direct water away from the structure and into the existing yard runoff/sewer drainage area. All exterior penetrations will be sealed according to manufacturer and code requirements. The existing deck will remain structurally unchanged. The only work involves rebuilding the existing steps: a new 4×4 landing at the deck entrance (where a standard gazebo door will be installed), with 9 steps descending to the left to grade.
