COM2019repair brownstone base at south tower, using lithomex, a hydraulic lime-based stone repair product or equal to match existing in color and composition and replicating features that previously existed based on historic images. repair dark brown stone at marble steps and clean and polish marble steps at ramp area. construct 2 new ada-compliant ramps for access on front elevation. the ramp from the sidewalk to the portico will be installed as per plans, will not damage the existing marble steps, and will be separated from the brownstone foundation by 2”. the cast concrete veneer face will match the adjacent brownstone foundation in color and will have a decorative metal handrail. the ramp on the portico will be installed onto of a liquid-rubber crack isolation membrane which will not damage the underlying stone tile. the ramp will be secured to the masonry wall using expanstion anchors in mortar joints in the masonry wall and portico floor as needed. the applicant must coordinate with chap staff archeologist to be present onsite when the foundations for the ramp are excavated. all work to be completed as per plans in chap files. scope of work: exterior alterations to include: on right side, repair limestone. repair brownstone at marble steps. clean and polish marble steps at area way where future ramp will be added. all new materials used to match that of original. all groundwork with no scaffolding needed. all work on private property. pollution control form attached. all work will be done according to baltimore city code.$7,300Oct 21, 2019
