THE JACK ARCH LINTEL ABOVE THE DOORWAY WILL BE REMOVED, A STEEL BEAM WILL BE INSTALLED ACROSS THE WIDENED OPENING, AND A RUNNING BRICK BOND WILL REPLACE THE JACK ARCH. THE JACK ARCH OVER THE WINDOW OPENING MAY EITHER BE RETAINED IN PLACE OR REMOVED. A SMALLER WINDOW WILL BE INSTALLED LOWER IN THE WINDOW OPENING AND WILL HAVE A RUNNING BOND ABOVE (NOT A RELOCATED JACK ARCH). THE FIRST-FLOOR REAR WALL WILL BE REPAINTED TO MATCH EXISTING. THE LIGHT FIXTURE WILL BE RETAINED BUT SLIGHTLY RELOCATED ON THE REAR WALL.
